    My Dec. 1941 Garand

    Had posted these pictures on the CMPicon site and decided to post here. I bought this rifle in 1991. It is either original or pretty much so or a very good restoration. All parts are correct and match well. All parts show very little use and rifle is not Britishicon proofed. I have bought and sold many M1s over the past 30 plus years but this one was a keeper.

    Did you buy that stock on epay?. That carouche is suspect.LOL

    What do you see that leads you to suspect it? It looks fine to me. I don't see any of the discrepancies seen on most of the fakes
