    When you look at the method of attaching the Madsen magazine with the external catch, it reminds me of the US Johnson Model 1941 LMG. The Johnson uses a very close variation of the Madsen magazine only
    it is inserted from the left side of the receiver

    I was not aware this gun had the " Johnson mag " before the Johnson . Neat . Are all the Mansen mags reloadable from rifle stripper clips like the Johnson's mags are ? Well , with so many different calibers , I'd guess not . But what about 30-06 , 7mm mauser , etc. ?
