    M1 Carbine Rear Sight

I'm interested in buying an M1icon Carbine, but the Flip Sight is VERY loose and the guy has a extra Bottom Flip Plate (I guess that's what its called ) and says you have to change it out, is it worth it, or Should I leave it alone cause of the Value ? Thanks

Note: I forgot to mention it's the L piece with the Peep Holes. Not the whole Rear Sight.

How much is it Frank? Got any pics of it? Is the rest good or mixmastered? You are speaking about a whole carbine here?

Jim, It's a IBM M1icon Carbine for 950.00, if I have to replace it I'm sure I'm looking at another 150.00 or higher and that's if I can find one, it also had a Type 2 Barrel Band. Yes, there are a couple of parts that are not IBM, but looks nice except for that broken Flip Sight. The guy selling it wanted 1100.00. I'm wanting to buy it from this guy here and the P & R Club. Thank You Jim for replying.

Like he says...spring? If that's not it, just wait. The sight will appear eventually...
