There is fear in those eyes. I wonder what that poor soldier had been told about the Americans that just captured him.
Wonder where he is today... I'd have been tempted to just pull the trigger.

My guess is he became worm food a long, long time ago if he was repatriated back to North Korea at the end of hostilities. The fact that he was captured and didn't die in battle could have easily earned him a death sentence or a very long spell of "re-education" under North Korean justice.
