    bubba'd SKS barrel

I just got a Romanian SKS that Bubba had ahold of. The barrel was cut to 16 1/2 inches Threaded with a left hand thread, and a flash hider installed. Its so crooked that the bullet would hit the one prong on the flash hider. Does anyone know a source I could get a barrel from? Are they threaded or pressed in? And. Is it worth fixing or should I part it out? It's in a folding stock but,The rifle is in otherwise great shape.

Curious as to what you consider cheap. I think they are running $400 in the US these days. Import restrictions and all.

I would be interested in the FCG if you part it out.

Not here in Canadaicon. We have lots here. Still, it's not much of a piece to be trying to rebuild. Here's an example of a brand new one pilfered from a local sales site... Used ones are cheaper.

Matter of fact here's one even cheaper from a dealer...private deals are even cheaper.

Nice. I've heard SVT's are very reasonable as well while here they are about $1200 now.

I think they can be had at about $400 or a bit less...the ones I saw had scopes and were as new. Again, pilfered ad from local...

And the cat! Kind of like .22 long rifle and 7.62X39mm ammo. It is plentiful and cheap in Canadaicon. Can it be sent down here? Ah, no!

I thought Canadians were are friends
