    1918 scope scam?

    i'm not sure if this is the done thing on this forum. if not please delete this thread.

    this looks awfully like a scam to me:

    I think it is, I tried to contact the seller on behalf of another forum member not long ago, had no reply.....

    There is a post in the Milsurps Team forum regarding a scam artist, he has done a few now, gets his back up when you say the photos are copied from other sites etc.

    Also his prices are normally low..... well below the average.

    To be honest, using others photos is quite common. I have seen a pair of No2 binos offered for auction using a couple of my photos from a couple of years before.

    I have just rebuilt one of those scopes and it was a bit of a heap, frosted lenses and a pig to strip
