    FNs still in action

Weren't we just discussing some of these the other day? I think these are from Syria but not completely sure. The first is neat, an improved sitting position. Perhaps the officer's version...how about it Peter? Then the strange things you see during a gunfight... Last a couple of marksman versions. One more collectable than the other... I just had to show you the second one because it's so radical.

I remember during the Libyan Civil War (if you truly consider it over), they were talking about how the FN was one of the favourite rifles over there until the price of 7.62 doubled (due to the increased demand).

They also turned in a few hundred or so STGs('43,'44,'45)at one point. I have the pics of an MP38 or 40 over there.

I am not surprised in the least, hell there were even Carcanos in use in Libya. Over in the third world if it works it will still be used at least until something better comes along.

I thought it was a photoshop at first. Had to look again, and then why would anyone do that?

An attempt to compensate for really, really bad marksmanship? Use a monster scope to make it look bigger hoping it makes it easier to hit?

Re the first picture: that's the latest version of the FN-FAL anti-aircraft mount.

No, I meant why would anyone do a photoshop on a pic of an FN? In reality the scope is an attempt to make a top grade, ultra long range, street fighting sniper rifle I should think...with a 30 rd mag no less...
