IINM, the cone flash hider hindered accuracy.

Bill, The M1D's in my company were all H&R rifles too ! That was the first time we ever saw a H&R M1

Interesting picture. Other reports and opinions aside, the picture speaks for itself regarding the use of flash hiders..... at least in this one case.
