    1952 Ballester-Molina

I had a day off so I decided to check out the local pawn shops to see what they had. This is what I found. I've seen these on the C&R sites going from $350 to $600 USD so for $400 I bought it. The ones I seen on the net were all blued but this ARMADA ARGENTINE is still parkerized with some parts that have been blued. If I can't restore the grips I will spend the money and get the correct replacements. I can't wait to take this one out to the range.

Good pistols. Being able to use the fine 1911 mags currently available is certainly a bonus!

I'm amazed at how much crud that can soak into wood. I have rubbed down the grips repeatedly with Awesome Cleaner and used a soft tooth brush to clean out the grooves. They are starting to look better and each groove is getting better defined. Once I'm done cleaning I'm going to hand rub some BLOicon into them to get a nice finish.

Nice and I remember when they were under $200 in like new condition. Yours is probably better marked and proofed.

MJ, don't take this personally, but that's crap.
