Nice, nice, nice rifles...you cut the sights off the far right one, I'm guessing that's an early L1A1? Looks like an 8L series FN C1A1 third in from the right...very nice. Second and third from the left are STGs?
    Regards, Jim

It looks as though the rake of the UKicon/Can/Aust pistol grips isn't as pronounced as the FN pistol grips. Is this the case or is it just the camera angle or my second large glass of wine

Peter, the L1A1 wood grips are slightly smaller than the metric plastic grips.

A better close up of the 8L and Britishicon SLR.

The FN and Imbel FALs' grips flared out at a different angle than our SLRs did. That is to say there is more of a difference between the angle of the front of the grip and the rear of the grip on the FAL.

Now that is a very fine collection of rifles DakTo ... and your C1 is a thing of beauty ... started my C1 build with a back sight, with grateful thanks to Jim, so only the remaining 90% to go now

90% percent to go. Seemingly, every time my parts box acquires several extra parts I see a new build coming.
I did pick up a very nice earlier C1 kit in the marketplace at the FF and the wood is NOS and the parts have all been refinished in a dark gray. I always wanted an earlier C1 companion to the 8L Check out Marstar Canada - Main Page for a few things you may need.

Anybody got the collapsible Para butt used on the FN?
