    New member, simple question

I am just getting into military surplus guns and seemed to be finding a LOT of information on this board when doing my searches..... so I joined.

So 1st things 1st, congratulations to the collective brain trust here.

I wanted to make a post of a few of my new purchases and see what everyone thinks. I have posted on another forum and have gotten no replys. Not sure if I posted to many pics or asked to many questions. So before repeating my mistakes I figured I would ask. It is a rather long post with all the information that I have found on the gun and about 12 pictures. Should I give it a try here, or is that not cool?

I was hoping that the thread could be a kinda virtual share\visit with a knowledgable friend (ie, everyone here). So let me know if I should do it.

    Thanks

Go for it. The more pictures (especially detailed serial numbers, stamps etc) the better. Forum members love pictures

Thanks Scoobsean, I will get her posted. I don't know where the stamps are located but that is the kinda stuff I am hoping to learn.

I think a thread like this could be a good learning experience for newbies like myself. I will get right to it.

Just posted the thread Springfield 1903 Mark I, New Purchase
