I haven’t seen this stamp before. Help identifying it would be gratefully appreciated.

    Vincent,
Is the George Reigns Lee Enfield another question per chance to keep us on our toes for the weekend?

Often found on No. 1 Mk III's, Model 1917 pistols, some M-1 Carbines. The odd No. 4; from my experience these are scarce. May be others, as well.

To be more precise, our Gendarmerie in Kärnten used them. They were under Britishicon occupation after WWII and were given the SMLE rifles. These rifles are quite scarce, I often wonder how they managed to get to the US.

€dit: Gendarmerie were the Austrian police forces outside citites. They were fusioned with the police in 2005.
