Ever wonder what a .45 acp 200g LSWC does to a chronograph?

I think I've come up with some pretty effective anti-crono rounds.

Yeah, I looked into it Steve but with shipping and replacement it comes out to a few bucks difference Just not worth it. I managed to miss all electronics so maybe duct tape and some zip ties will git' er going again, gonna try anyway.

Your right BAR, kept getting errors on the readout, got flustered, started to rush and.......

It takes a big man to admit an error in order to prevent others making the same one.

I shot my friend's chrono with the same ammo!!! Using 4.6 gr of Bullseye I took out one of the metal up-rights. Fortunately, since it wasn't mine, the repair was lots easier than it will be for you.

I have only hit the metal rods on my F-1 Crony and shattered one of the white plastic shades. The rods are an odd size and not easily fabricated so I was forced to buy them from the company. They are apparently made of some rare metal and the white shade pieces from antique elephant ivory if the prices are any indication. Tom

Looks like your hold is a bit left on the chronie face, regarding odd sized replacement parts that's how manufacturers get you, like P&H cranes have odd sized seals you cannot get anywhere else but them off the shelf items are either to big or to small forcing you to deal with them at an according price (Think it is called cornering the market), 100MPH tape works well for any application do some panel beating tape it up and should be good till the next hit!

That definitely has to go into the Hall of Fame awards excellent expansion characteristics, I would say it may be a wall hanger in the man cave...

    Here ya go, WarPig:

I just had to laugh because there's one at my favorite indoor archery range that has been shot with a smallish arrow in almost the same place as your top picture! The chrono there at the archery shop is on the "Wall of Shame" - When you first look at it you can quickly see what happened... She walked up to shoot through the chrono, but had a small 'altitude' problem.

Next time I'm in the archery shop I'll take a photo for prosperity.

(And "Yes" I agree 100% -- It does take a big man (or woman) to confess such foibles for the greater good of mankind)

I've been thrown under the bus by the other moderators so often I feel right at home down here!
