Peter.... I believe you had said that one of these had never been through the workshops. Here are some photos of one you can look over. This example represents a almost complete BSA parts FTR of a former Maltby Mk.I less the bands, cocking piece, front sight assembly and trigger guard. All the wood is M/47C 1956 marked which is 2 years after the 1954 dated barrel. This is the most common scenario found on 1954 FTR'd rifles by BSA. At the week end, I will post pics of another that may give some idea of where these rifles went after FTR. All opinions welcomed, of course.Information
