I recently bought a James River Armory rebuild/refurb 1903a3. The first round will feed from the the magazine but the second goes up the feed ramp and jams in the square cutout in right of the entry to the chamber. This happens with every round that feeds from the left of the magazine (2nd and 4th). All rounds from the right (1st, 3rd and 5th) feed correctly. Once the jam occurs if I pull the bolt back and ram it forward again the round will chamber but it shears a chunk of the lead point off the projectile. I have encountered this with both 220gr and 150gr rounds, both soft lead tip as this is all I am able to get at this point. I haven't managed to find any references to a similar problem anywhere else and any help would be much appreciated because at the moment I'm basically only able to use my rifle as a single shot.Information
