Mauser capture screws

I would like to know if both capture screws on the trigger guard are of the same type

Yes they are. They can be bought in pairs.

I thought they might be but this is my first Mauser and I wanted to be sure.

True enough, the screws sold today are the same. But, of course, the Germans made them slightly different. If you have an early Mauser you can easily see they are different screws.
