    M1 Carbine barrel change

I recently bought a carbine that the previous owner had changed to a non restricted barrel. I have a proper period correct barrel that I would like to put on. Is there anywhere that I can find out the best, or most proper way to change it out?

    Thanks

I am currently looking for exactly what you are trying to re-barrel, perhaps I could purchase your rifle and save you the trouble? I have the opposite sort of issue, I want a NR carbine, but can only find original configuration rifles for sale.

Send me a PM if this could be of interest to you.

I'm not sure you can change it back to a restricted carbine...you better find out from CFO for your area first. You might have to re-register it as a receiver only first and then show it as a build.

If you can't use someone here in the States I just had a Barrel Changed out from ChuckinDenver. He's a member here on Milsurps. If you call him he will give you step by step instructions of what you need to do. He's been doing this out of his Shop for a long time. PM or Email for his Phone Number.

Yes you can change it back to restricted. But the CFO will ask you if you are felling ok . There is a few guys that can change your barrel just make sure they can check the H/S . Were are you in Ca. You can send me an email if you want.
