Where did all these carbines come from?

I only check Gun Broker occasionally, but recently noticed Gander Mountain has a huge listing of M1icon Carbines. I believe if you're already "signed in" on GB, this link will (should) work. Definitely lots to look at here, but not many being sold. Makes me wonder if they'e got an arrangement with S-T-B or someone similar. - Bob

For those prices they should be all correct. No wonder no one is buying them.

Gander Mountain is the most over priced of the chains on used though the $500 ground mum mixed parts Arisakas a local Cabelas had was pretty laughable too. But in general I see online they are the highest, they ask $600 for Yugoicon SKS when most everyone else asks around $425 give or take twenty bucks. Only reason I bought mine from them is they had it "on sale" for a somewhat normal price of $400 and I didn't have my C&R then so I had to go through a normal dealer.

    Item Description
Designed as a close-range defense weapon for trench fighting, the M1icon Carbine has been used
Interesting description I think. Should continue: the trench carbine is the perfect companion to your trench shotgun, trench pistol, and trench other items we added pre-fix "trench" to.

Yes and a bit like the "Sniper" acronym attached to items of suspect heritage that pushes the price up 300%

Bob, I called them about 2 I was interested in and one had a old Ordnance Marking and a New one right next to it and they won't open one to check the parts. It happen again there was 2 Ordnance Markings one faded like the other one and they stamped a New one about a Inch from it. If you call them and ask them if they can take one apart to see the insides they will come up with some excuse. Maybe some other person can persuade them to do it I was talking to the same guy about the 2 I was wanting to buy. He did send some close ups of the Rear Sight and they were brand New on some of the Nicer ones.
