I just picked up a Finnish 1934 M27 Tikka Mosin Nagant in a trade. Rifle looks to be in very good overall condition with some handling dings, no cracks, only slight wear on the metal in some places (metal finish is 95%+), and a pretty good shiny barrel. The bolt serial number matches the receiver/barrel. The stock has not been refinished. The import mark is on the barrel near the muzzle, and is quite small. According to the tang the receiver was made in Tula in 1899. Any idea of the value of this rifle in the US? I traded a Lee Enfield 1953 RFI No.1 Mk.III* for the rifle. I was thinking of keeping the rifle for a while, then passing it along to someone who would appreciate it more (but am quite tempted to shoot it if it is accurate as I have been led to believe - there are military rifle shooting matches in my area).
