If you have a copy of 'The British Sniper" its on pg 31. Fits over the butt of the SMLE. And is basically a periscopic sight. My example is broad arrow with inspectors markings and " N" possibly for Navy marked.

We had an old cardboard box containing about 10 spare prism and stem assemblies for those! All in original paper and card packaging.

Must have been quiet easily damaged, this one has a very small shard missing from a corner of the prism. works perfect though.

You lucky devil! That's quite a find..........& beautifully marked up, too. I have one of the spare prism assemblies that a pal gave me many years ago, but that's all. It's a really fascinating piece of history that you've got there.
