OT Empty nest syndrome

My wife and I saw my son off to the Army today. Felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest. 19 years seems too short a time now.
He's gonna be a paratrooper just like his father and grandfather. We're really proud of him.

I'd shake you & your son's hand if I could reach through the computer. Thanks to you for your service and thanks to your son for his. Our son went in the Navy almost four years ago.
