For the M3 SMG isn't it? Was that in your pocket, along with gas trap parts? One just sold on Ebay for just over $50...and in "near mint"...so the story goes...

Once found a M3 barrel that was made in 9mm but converted back to 45 ACP. I would like to see any photos of the M3 magazine in 9mm

I think there was an insert available and one could use Sten mags? Don't know what the original idea was though.
