    Good use of Japaneseicon munitions boxes, appears the G I may have a trench fighting knife as the handle has a guard surrounding it unless the pouches behind are perfectly aligned to give that impression.

    Not really a hard call. Look at the trigger guard directly under the mag in the pic and then look where the trigger guard is on the M55. It's so far down you wouldn't see it. Also, you can see the pistol grip in the pic under the trigger guard and the M55 doesn't have the same thing. So...disagree away...
