    Parker Hale receiver ID?

    Hello,

I finally have some time to get around to finishing some projects. I'm trying to ID the Parker Hale receiver in the attached pics. It's similar to the M84, but this is a repeater. I saw another post that listed this as an M85, but it doesn't have the rear sight protectors. I saw another post that listed it as an M86 or M87, but it's missing the milled spot between the two Screw holes on the front ring that I've seen on the M87). A heavy Parker Hale marked Mauser-type barrel screws in nicely.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks much.

    Ted,
What you have there is an M86 produced from my original records on the 8th of June 1989 through the PARKER HALE works. It appears in a row of .243 entries so I am assuming that was the calibre.
It was shooting 14.3mm group at 100 yards with 10 rounds.
No scope fitted for the customer who was Precision Sports at the time. Sorry no address for them.
Hope that helps you with the history as recorded.
    Gil
