Seeking advice to repair crack in stock of Swedish Ag42

See attached photos. I am planning to use Acraglass to work into the crack....I am open to all advice on how to repair this crack as best I can.

I have had some success with similar running type cracks with opening up the crack and inserting glue in the crack with a syringe & clamping the repair.
You might even consider a vertical small hardwood dowel or two. I have used super type glue & Tite Bond outdoor rated wood glue with good results. The key is wood as oil free as possible and good coverage & clamping. Many very capable woodworkers here I am sure more will chim in soon.

Do not discard that one if you are able to find a solid one. Quite repairable from the photos.
