Swiss Frog but for what weapon

Not your normal Swissicon frog although obviously based on it. it has the cut out for the staples used on their frogs but has a frog stud hole, its not a conversion but made for the purpose, what bayonet/knife is this one for??

If it was used by the Swissicon Amy. Would it be for their SMGs? IIRC it was the Rexim Favour?....Not sure without looking it up!

THe Favor uses a spike bayonet that is reversed under the weapon when not in use, like the MAS and the FG42, and the old US 1873 ramrod bayonet types. comments on another forum are that it is a normal frog with the stud pulled free, but I still wonder about the wear pattern under the hole.

When I posted my thought on this frog Carl, There was something niggling in my head about my guess being incorrect.
Of course you have triggered my memory now! A folding bayonet, was indeed fitted the Rexim Favour! My Bad!..

Your statement regarding the stud having been removed. Now make perfect sense!

Swissicon frogs are typically dated, that might help narrow it down if it is.
