    Need Help Finding a Customer

    Hello,

In 2013 a gent sent me a money order for a sight.

I shipped the sight, and it was returned to me after making rounds in Canadaicon. It seems this gentleman moved and didn't leave a forwarding address.

Additionally, he didn't answer any emails and I had no phone number on file for him.

I've searched for this feller a couple times per year since. However, I've not asked publicly because I'd been waiting for his name to turn up in public files or maybe even to contact me. I'd have returned the money had this been through electronic payment, but since it was a MO I figure any payment I sent to the given address would have been returned, as was the package.

I'd like to put paid to this order this year. I've had the bloody box in my shop for almost three years now, and it's beyond ridiculous. It's not my property and it eats at me.

I'm hoping this feller might just see this post, or maybe someone here knows him or what happened to him.

His last name is Gregg. The address was in BC. I'm not giving the road or postal code publicly because that just encourages the spam bots.

If this is you or you know who this is, please contact me via PM here or through my website's contact me page.

Please do NOT post your email addresses here, because those feed spam bots.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Josh

You could ask a legal adviser, if you are concerned, about the ownership of the item but you have probably done all you can to reunite it with it's owner. After more than 3 years the chap has most likely completely forgotten about it and is not likely to come forward.

Unless it was SUPER crazy expensive, I agree you've done everything to make it right- not much else you can do.

Thank you for the kind words, gents.

I guess I don't see this as above and beyond. I would hope that a person would do the same for me, is all, and am grateful to my customers for making me a success. I'd rather not fail them.

    Regards,

    Josh
