You don't see this for sale very often in north America.

Nice rifle, just not interested in selling a kidney to finance it.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

Some one with deep pockets will trundle in and may buy it which will keep the prices rising towards the ridiculous.

IMHO Collectors Source has always been expensive, very expensive.

Looks like it sold.It lasted longer than I thought it would.I think it was a reasonable price for such a rare sniper.

Thats K if you live where it is sold but not a chance of anyone else having a crack at it what with auction after sale %'s, shipping fees, our import duties + 10% GST and relicensing then to get it to my side of the country for postage well I reckon it would add another $1,700/AU to the price and if I waltzed in with that under my arm and the bank down @$10,700/AU there would be a new set of xmas balls hanging on this years xmas tree and they wont shine either..........

    Nice but pricey.

I see they also have a Armalite AR-7 with the brown butt stock.

Mine's not quite as pretty, swirly black and it's been used a lot
but it's still in the original Armalite© box.

I thought my eyes were playing tricks there...I've never seen one with a brown stock, only black.

The January issue of The American Rifleman has a really good article on the AR-7 including a sidebar on mysterious AR-7s from Israel. The brown stocked ones command a premium.

In addition to the original Armalite I have some from Charter Arms and the new production ones from Henry Repeating Arms.
Charter Arms also made a pistol version called the explorer II.
