Timney Trigger for Yugo M48?

I'm considering getting a replacement trigger for my Yugo Mauser to improve the heavy pull of the stock trigger. Has anyone else done this? What do you think and has it improved the accuracy of your rifle? Can anyone think of any reason not to?

Do it and don't look back. You have to hog out a little wood from the inside trigger area of the stock but nothing that is visible externally. A Dremel with an end mill bit works perfect.
I did it to mine and it truly changed it to a MOA shooter. Sub MOA once I mounted a scout scope and started reloading for it.
There is no real history or great value with a Yugo so your not desecrating an important antique.
Also not to take anything away from the fact that Yugo's seem to have the worst triggers of any variation of Mauser rifle ever built so you'd be doing it a service for sure. Bill

I have installed aftermarket triggers in yugos and they have worked great, but when I learned that you begin to remove important safety features with mods originally incorporated into the design I started to lean back the other way to just swapping parts and just making sure everything is working as best as it can to find something acceptable. The ones I have modified however did significantly improve accuracy. This is just what works for me though.
