HI Guys, I know this is not a Lee Enfield, but as these marking are most commonly found on Lee Enfield's in Australiaicon I figured here would be a sensible place for it

These 2 photos are form the butt stock of a BSA No2 Cadet Scout Pattern War Office trainer, the markings on the right side are a no brainer, the stamping on the left I have no idea. I guess its a unit marking?

Any info would be appreciated
