Mighty oaks grow from little acorns... we are laying out the Spring issue now and just finished a neat article sent by Steve Norton. He collects Marine stuff and bought the attached bayonet at a gun show because he recognized it as USMC. Then he set about researching the name. What he found makes a wonderful story, you will like it

The final layout went to the printer on Monday, so should start to mail next week. Veteran member Lou Losi submitted excellent Lend Lease information that adds to the Fall 2016 feature on them, but his article had to be pushed ahead to Summer for space reasons. An excellent explanation of recent out-of-battery accidents that cracked two receivers ran long, and we thought it was important to get that information out as soon as possible. Lou is OK with it.
