Which Parker-Hale Rings are correct for those bases?

Can you please help me and let me know for which type of Parker-Hale Rings I need to keep my eyes open (or if someone even can suggest where to get a pair of suiting rings probably with the correct scope too?) for? From what I've been able to measure the very top of the rear dovetail is 12mm, if that helps?

May I just ask that with that set up and only having a dovetail up the front and the rear mount screwing directly into the rear sight is this set up going to hold a good zero I only ask as all my scopes are mounted on full rails or swing mounts and I fail to see just how stable that back set up would be. It is not knocking the rifle just the set up in general is it a bubba type set up or something the military devised! TIA

This is the same mount style as used on the Enforcer, and as far as I know they did not have zeroing problems with that rifle. With the front scope ring locked in place the rear part would not be able to move at all.

Thanks Promo Gil Boyd is the P H man he may chime in if some one could also explain how they attach the scope and remove it to use the battle sight I am interested as my 1200 P H I just undo 1 rear windage screw & rotate the front off is the rear hole threaded just asking how it all fits together. Curious.

stock no. RAHS3 for 1" / 25.4mm scope dia. 19.5mm width. .486" undertube clearance.
RAHS4 for 26mm scope dia. 19.5mm width. .486" undertube clearance.

the H stood for High, they could be had in L for Low and N for Normal as well but the catalogue only lists this combination for the unmodified No.4

The bases are "BB's" early steel not the later "BA's" front aluminum rear alloy steel. You need RBHS.3 for 1" scopes or RBHS.4 for 26mm scope. lower rings in most cases won't give the scope clearance. A much rarer setup and generally found on the early Parker Hale Supreme sporters. Was a good solid a set up despite's its appearance. Relied on the stiffness of the steel bodied scopes. Ron (Canada)

Certainly correct PH mounts 21 R & 20 F can't see any reference number on them.

That then leaves me my head scratching, since I had purchased the shown "RALS4" marked scope rings - but they are too wide on bottom and can't be fixed on this rifle! As I've mentioned in my starting post it appears that the top of the bases are 12mm broad, while the rings I bought seem to be for the 19mm dovetail?!



Edit: as a small side note, despite being a No. 4 rifle the particular shown rifle is a governmental sniper rifle - I have not found out the origin yet, but it's wearing the same stock as a No. 4 T (with cheek pad) and also has a scope serial on the stock like a No. 4 T.

Is it possible that a 21 and a BA21 are different widths? Note that the one in this picture has the left dovetail cut to clear the charger bridge and the rear mounting "ear".

I have seen these rear mounts marked "BA21" and "BB21"; the dove-tails were of different widths.
