This one's been really high on my "holy grail" list for a very long time. It's a nice piece of luck to find one in this kind of shape. All matching and (at first glance anyway) correct with an intact original sight cover and clearing rod. This old girl appears to be one of the 300 bought by Canadadirectly from British
army stores in 1898/99 (Edgecombe) The disk is marked to the 8th Princess Louise's Hussars. I haven't had time to give her more than a cursory once over, but she looks like a good'un so far. Excuse the photography.
