    No4 Metric Sight Slide

    Advertised in WTB and send out a few emails however I'm still looking for the "M" marked slide to convert the rear MK1 sight to metric. Any have one? or know where I can buy? Looking for 2 -4. Thanks. Ron.

    Simplicity itself to convert from the standard No4 sight cursor - which in fact, they were!. Remove the original line by careful filing and re-mark the line .070" lower down. According to the EMER, '.....and when this is done, the slide should be marked with the letter 'M' on the left side with a 1/8" letter stamp in order to distinguish the slide from that of the .303" No4 rifle. The practice of marking the sight leaf with the new calibre will cease' A small pencil note says, so far as I can decipher/read it says '.... this is now unnecessary and damages the top part of the sight ?????????? plunger.....' Damages the sight detent plunger and spring hole?

    To be really honest RGG, this is how ALL the metric slides originated. And guess what the price will be if anyone has a so called 'original'.........
