Hey guys,
Have a QHMC carbine, #1,635,990. Did a data sheet with "War Baby" and can't find it right now, but remember it pretty well. The receiver is from early February 43'. Sixty percent of the parts are QHMC correct for that date and the rest of the parts are QHMC but later. Wood is Q-RMC, Rockola, and the barrel is a like new un-dated Rockola. Deadly accurate at twenty five yards and functions well.
Will bring it to the local show tomorrow for the third time. Everybody likes it and wants it but don't want to pony up $1500. Think that is reasonable. Try to find all of the parts! Yes it is probably a restoration, but a very fine one, all of the parts have fine finish except for the receiver which is a little mottled but there is no rust or pitting anywhere on this carbine. Thoughts?
