    How well does the Garandicon like the ingress of foreign matter as with the en bloc's slung like that and the G I takes a dive into the mud evading fire how well will the rifle cycle reloading with crud all through the clip and rounds. Were not allowed that type here so know next to nothing about this great piece of WWII kit.

    The same as any other rifle. It will only work until it won't work and then you have to sort it out.

    I remember when M1icon clips were like hen's teeth here and I happened to be in Brisbane, found a surplus store that had a couple of VERY scruffy M1s standing in a rack. They had a few clips too and I was able to get some at about $1AUS each. That was 1977 so...some time ago.
