Boy!.. here in New Jersey they would lock that gun happy nut up for discharging a firearm within town limits. After all, how did he know they were not making a movie? You can't go around shooting up union film crews and actors. Lawyers by the dozen will be trying to get to represent the sole survivor for civil action against the 'sniper'...... Interfering with their right to pursue happiness, and assault with a deadly weapon.( Boy! I wish that were a joke!)
All I can say is what a GREAT neighbor to have around...
Same here charges would read ~ discharging a weapon in a built up area, endangering the publics safety & manslaughter simple as that. Whether the magistrate would be lenient is another matter but he would definitely lose his guns and never hold a firearms license again.![]()
Thank God in Texas it's moral that criminals are "bad guys" and good guys still rule!

Here in the U.K. even when the Police discharge a firearm at a criminal they have to report themselves to the Independent Police Complaints Commission to investigate.
