I didn't know Geoffrey died. I think it's run by Paul Panagi now but could be wrong. The website is still up or was a few weeks ago.
Geoffrey died some weeks ago now. There was some talk of his son(s) carrying on, but I've not heard of anything. As Brian says, he did have an associate, Paul Panagi, but not sure if he'll be carrying on or not. Really, at least in recent years, EFD was Geofrey Organ.
I'm very saddened in learning Geoff has passed on.
This will explain why no response to several emails, both personal and business.
Geoff was a real gentleman and I always enjoyed a poke around his collection and shop.
After Geoff and Jim parted ways with EFD I knew his son was somewhat active in the business at the new place.
He had a gorgeous bit of property where the shop was located and always enjoyed a "wee dram" on the deck.
Anyone know if Jim F. is still with us or has he gone to the great gunshop in the sky as well.
Paul and Geoffrey parted company last year.
I understood that his sons were taking over the business but nothing seems to have come of it.
Geoffrey was a great guy and his loss is very sad.
They had a remembrance do for him at the Oriental Club in London earlier this year.
As far as I'm aware Jim's still with us.
Jim posts occasionally on this site. AFAIK he's still with us.......
I spoke to Jim at the Trafalgar Meeting last October, he seemed his old self and was thinking about renewing his LERA membership.
Mick
I think I'm still around, I'll check.
Molon Labe.
Lunch is on you next time !!!!!
