    M-14 tools

In a case marked --- “7799702 case carrying field service”. Is there a list of gauges and tools that would have been in this case?

Larry, I'd suggest sending an email to Bill Ricca on this.

Off the top of my head YES.Mine had a list in the box with the complete kit.
You got a field test bolt,a 1.6455 Field Rejection headspace gauge,A snap gauge for the gas piston, a plug gauge for the gas cylinder,a firing pin protrusion gauge,a flash hider alignment gauge and a pair of bolt roller liers which did NOT fit in the laminated wooden case you reference but DID come with the kit.An Allen wrench for front sights was also included.Lab test verification cards for each gauge were also included.
