    Re-blu sadly. The front sight has a square chuck to assist the point of aim I am assuming. The nice thing is that the chunk can be removed without boogering the original form of the front sight.

    Blu over evidence of pitting is the tell. A nice shooter for sure however.

    Corrosion pitting always seems to affect C96's at the top of the pistol grips quite badly, I guess the inevitable action of age, hand salts and poor historic cleaning..

    That looks like a super pistol though, re blue or not.
