A little help with my rifle please !!

Hi everyone..just wondering as im confused about the lettering on my Enfield. Its a 1917 BSA and has various letter stamps mostly F's..G's..and a T. it does NOT say FTR or FR anywhere on it so i know its not been repaired nor has it been stamped released for civilian use. It also has only the year it was made number 17 on it where the refurbished recirculated number should go. ( meaning if it was used in ww2 it would have a 40 something stamp on it ) it also has a Canadianicon government acceptance mark on it. Im confused as what the T stands for nor the marking to the right . I will post a pic. Thx guys !!!

Looks a more like a P which may indicate parallel bore which I dragged from another thread and equates to this by muffett2008 = Bit of a misnomer really, more like parallel rifling.Several forms of Rifling were trialed after the exit of the Metford barrels, Enfield tried reverse taper, progressive, and several others. Finally settling on equidistant lands and grooves, the lands were not square, having a narrow taper top to bottom, this was finally corrected in the early twenties to parallel lands with no radius or taper. A variation of this was tried at Lithgowicon in the 1930's, but was discarded after showing no improvement in accuracy or barrel life.
