Proper no.4 (T) sling

I'm looking for information on what sling is proper for a (T) sniper.

Any research I've done has said they used a 1907 "style" sling.

Would a US 1907 sling be appropriate or are there British made 1907 leather slings?

Standard time period 1907 slings were employed. I've never even heard of an English made 1907 example.

You also might want to try our Google CSE custom search engine located in the top right corner with the words "Search Milsurps.Com". It only searches our site using Google techniques and can be quite efficient. For example, in your case, type in the words no.4 sling and see what happens ..

Thank you for link and I did try a search but either too lazy to read all articles or used the wrong words as I couldn't find the exact info I wanted.

They were left over American slings from WW1 so should have the brass fittings instead of steel. The long Bren gun web sling is also correct.

My No4T came in box with a 1944 dated M1907 with steel fittings .

You did occasionally see the slings with steel fittings. When I first saw them I thought they were blackened brass.
