Is this 1907 Scabbard of U.S. manufacture?

I'm trying to figure out if this 1907 scabbard is American made or a Britishicon Scabbard that has been repaired with a U.S., Remington, chape? It is the marking on the top mount which I'm not sure about and this appears to be "E B" in a circle. I did wonder if this indicated Eddystone manufacture or another U.S. subcontractor but I'm not sure? I think that the leather may have been marked but I am unable to make any markings out.

I wondered what peoples thoughts are on this scabbard, please? Is it a U.S. scabbard supplied with a 1913 bayonet to fit on a Pattern 1914 rifle or is it a British 1907 scabbard that's been repaired with a U.S. made chape? Thanks for any information.

Eddystone Rifle Armory didn't make bayonets or scabbards.

Ok thanks Jim. I'll probably use it with a 1907 bayonet rather than a P14 bayonet then.

I don't think there'd be any difference...either should be correct.

That is a Remington made scabbard so it is US and probably for the P14 rifle as it would have been covering a Remington made 1913 bayonet

Carl are you able to provide any further information on the top mount with the "E.B" marking, please? While I'm aware that the chape has "R.E." (Remington) mark indicating that the chape is U.S. manufacture, I don't know about the rest of the scabbard. Are you able to confirm that "E.B" is defiantly an American company, please? It could be a Britishicon scabbard that has had the chape lost or damaged and it was replaced with one that happened to be of U.S. manufacture?
