    ShtLe Mk 1 1904

After seeing ridolpho's Mk1 it prompted me to post mine.
Its a Enfield and Tasmanian marked . it has numerous punch marks on the butt disk and would love to hear from anyone who has seen this before as i am at a loss to what they might mean
    Cheers

Hi Cinders, its the series of punch marks made with a pointed punch . They are in a line going around the disk.
