    CMP Winchester

Picked up at San Jose Fed X on Fri 13.

    Win field grade, (not black)

    Serial no 25270XXX Nov 1944 D28291-1

    Barrel is 3 S A 4 45 D35448-35-A-99-B-3 no chrome (is this springfield?)

Not to bad, no rust, no pits, bore is brite, lots of bullet showing on the muz. test.

Missing rear barrel band pin, and rough wood, gas cylinder is saw cut no marks

My first field grade, but didn't need another boyds stock.

Going to put new pins all around and see how it shoots.

It seems you did quite well. My 2 FG WRA's came in last week,a 2.3 mil and a 6 digit with 50's SA barrels and SA parts. Cleaning them up right now, replacing the oprod springs and all wood and will be selling them for cost. I took a gamble in hopes of getting a serial I don't have yet(1.3's) but instead ended up with serials I already have several of. I have a few 6 digits already and several 2.3's,in fact I will be selling another 2.3 shooter aside from this one. I'll be posting them in a week or two when the wood is done. The wood that came on them was not that bad looking but both had very looose lockup. I still have some Dupage and Doug's leftovers and some new handguards so I decided to dress them up a bit with better wood that has tight lockup. They should make some decent shooters.
