Curious if anyone has seen one of these Japanese Toys

I believe this predates WW2 but I am not 100% positive as I cannot find another one for comp.

This toy winds and the head, arm and "machine gun" move. The body is celluloid I believe, the gun metal and the base wood.

I am not a huge toy collector but have been wanting to find information on this one for awhile. Any info is appreciated, TIA.

Pretty nice. I guess it doesn't have any markings anywhere?

If I have this right Modern Toy of Japanicon made there stuff in the occupied area of China in 1932 called Manchukuo (Manchuria). Toys built there often carried the name: MANCHUKUO TOY CO. C1930'S.
Gets complicated, but see similar styles to yours but no match found.

    Some links:

:: Hunters And Collectors Antiques ::

JAPANESE MACHINE GUN CELLULOID BY MANCHUKUO | eBay

I've read many were destroyed by Japan needing the scrap metal. After occupation allied troops also destroyed them, feeling they were offensive.

    Yours must be rare, IMO
