    Truly "unissued" wartime mag chest!

    Wow! Not something you get to see much anymore. This was just opened yesterday, no date on the packaging per se, but I thought the war time admonition not to waste the cardboard packing and save for reuse was pretty interesting.

    Going by the scale of the size of the barrel extension there, I'm thinking .50 cal...the .303 was such a miniature gun by comparison.
