One of our junior shooter graduated from boot camp this week - His fellow Camp Perry shooters game him an M1 as his graduation gift.

Jim Jr. was the top shooter in his class.

My dad shot first in his class at Naval Station Great Lakes, glasses and all. They were shooting the Garand at that point. It was in 1944.
