    Lanchester MK1 ejector question.

I'm working on building a Semi-auto clone of a Lanchester MK1* (located in the USAicon). Since my parts collection did not include an ejector (among several other bits), I'm getting ready to spin one on the lathe.

Had a few questions about the placement of the ejector. From the image of a reproduction ejector below, it appears that the flat front of the ejector would protrude into the "U"-shaped opening on the back of the magazine by about 1/16" (~1.6mm). Can anyone confirm if this is indeed the case?

Also, does anyone know how high above the top of the magazine's feedlips the top of the ejector is located - if at all?

    Thanks!

I think that you should start by looking at and trying a Sterling Mk3 ejector. They are pretty well identical and a Mk4 Sterling one will fit too

Thanks! Didn't realize how similar the Sterling part is. Should be much easier to find.
