1938 Tula Mosin Nagant receiver markings

Can anyone help me identify what some of these markings mean?

Other than the refurb mark and (0) (accuracy proof), I have nothing

You nailed the refurb mark, I have always assumed the rest are inspector stamps whose records are lost to time.

You could check mosinnagant.net and 7.62x54r.net of course, if you haven't already. Other than that I would agree with the previous post-they are long-lost inspector's marks.

Don't feel bad, no one knows what the markings on the US rifles are either, hidden but all sorts of this and that sis that we will never know.
